Date: Jagran Film Festival is being organized in Cinepolis, P&M Mall, Patliputra, Patna from 7 February to 9 February 2025. The opening film of this festival was Kariyathi, a film by producer Neetu Chandra and director: Nitin Neera Chandra.

Bhojpuri film Kariyathi stars National School of Drama graduate Anu Priya and Deepak Singh in the lead roles. The film will be released in multiple languages ​​and deals with issues such as skin colour discrimination and female foeticide.

This is Neetu Chandra's fourth film after 'Deswa', 'Mithila Makhan' and 'Jackson Holt'. Neetu's 'Jackson Holt' was highly appreciated for its gripping thriller story and 'Mithila Makhan' was awarded the National Award for the Best Maithili Language Film, which established Neetu Chandra as a great producer in the cinema world.
